Tripod Round Trivet

The Alessi Tripod Round Trivet is a contemporary trivet design by Gabriele Chiave, which showcases a novel form that belies its function. This imaginative Alessi design features a series of zinc stars, strung along a slender metal chain, resembling a piece of jewelry, as easily hung on a hook as thrown on a table like dice. When the stars are arranged on a tabletop, however, they form a sturdy base that supports hot pots, dishes, or plates.
