Slow Sofa

The Slow Sofa from Vitra translates the airy, suspended comfort of the Slow Chair into a compact two-seater format. Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, this piece avoids the visual bulk of traditional sofas by using a form-fitted knit cover tensioned over a tubular steel frame, creating a resilient seat that yields to the body. Dressed in Flocca bouclé, the fabric introduces a rich, uneven surface that contrasts with the streamlined aluminum legs. Perfect for smaller living spaces where visual lightness is key, the sofa is equipped with a suite of varying-sized cushions and neck rolls, ensuring adjustable support for lounging, reading, or conversation.
