Vessel's goal for sustainable design is to "eliminate negative environmental impact completely through sensitive design." For example, unlike a non-recyclable plastic or fiberglass container made of chemical polymers and epoxy resins, Vessel's containers are skillfully made with clay, water, and fire. 100% recyclable. Plants love them too!

The unglazed finish option for this planter will acquire a natural patina which becomes increasingly handsome with age. For outdoor use, a drain hole may be drilled to maintain proper drainage. Ceramic containers should never be subject to freezing water temperatures.
